About me
I grew up in the Canadian Rockies and have been rafting since age 3. River trips have provided several of my most treasured memories - from the Main Salmon, to the San Juan, to floats on the Bow River in my hometown. I've lived in Alberta, Ontario, Vancouver Island - eventually making my way down to San Francisco, San Diego, and now Fort Lauderdale.
The Best Part of My Job
Getting to share and set folks up for the life-changing adventure that river trips consistently provide. Some of the most beautiful and unique places in the world can only be experienced by raft.
How I found OARS
OARS has been a household name for me since elementary school, as my dad is a professional guide up in Canada. I knew that OARS held the highest standard of excellence and was so excited to pursue a career here to help other people find a way to experience that.
My Favorite Spot on the River/Outdoors
Favorite rapids: Big Drops in Cataract Canyon at high water. Favorite camp: the Knob on Alsek Lake (Tatshenshini / Alsek River).
My Favorite Trip Memory
Favorite trip memories: taking my husband on his first river trip on the Tuolumne River. Waking up at the Rios Lodge on the Pacuare River in Costa Rica. Watching Grizzly Bears fish on the Tatshenshini in Alaska. The adrenaline of the Middle Fork Salmon in high water. Watching the sun rise on the canyon walls of Cataract Canyon.
