Position: Part time seasonal shuttle drivers
OARS is looking for shuttle drivers at many of our locations across the western United States to provide safe, reliable transportation to OARS guests and equipment. If you’re looking for consistent extra income during the year, have part time flexible availability or have another job we will strive to work around your schedule.
Depending on location, our season can be from March to November with the majority of the work from May through September. A CDL is not required for all positions – positions are available for folks capable of driving 15-passenger vans or one-ton trucks with trailers.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND REQUIREMENTS
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- A clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
- A current Medical Examination Report (“DOT Med Card”, valid for 2 years; cost sponsored)
- Responsible for the safe transport of all passengers and gear between origination and destination
- Experience driving a 15 passenger van preferred
- Obey all laws of the highway and drive in a defensive manner
- Learn and understand all trip logistics, evacuation routes, best practices, care of equipment and vehicles
- Greet and interact with guests with an excellent level of guest service and professionalism
- Conduct and document daily vehicle inspections
- Must be able to work in all weather conditions, including extreme heat and cold
- Fuel and clean the vehicle daily as needed
- Report needed repairs and maintenance to manager as needed
- Drive on dirt roads and highways in various weather conditions
- Work well in a fast paced environment
- Work well as part of a team
- Other duties as assigned
HOURS AND COMPENSATION
- Full, Part-Time, and Flexible schedules available
- Bi-weekly pay dependent on experience, location and per shuttle basis, pay ranges from $65 to $286 per drive, based on area of operation, length of shuttle, and licensed skill for vehicle type

Our drivers typically enjoy short (1-2 hour), easy drives taking guests to and from the river, and often find that it’s a nice change of pace from long school bus or ski shuttle routes during the summer months. In between trip departures and pickups, our drivers often have time to take a dip in the river, run home for errands, and grab lunch.
- Valid driver’s license required to drive gear vehicles only (no guests) and must be able to tow a trailer
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License Class A or B with passenger endorsement to transport guests
- Air brakes are required to drive 40’ busses (55+ passengers)
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment and random drug screenings
