My day with OARS was absolutely unforgettable! From the moment we arrived, Kendal greeted us warmly and set the tone for an incredible journey. Our guides, Kendal and Bill, were the heart and soul of our adventure. Kendal’s humor kept us entertained from start to finish, while Bill’s knowledge of the river and local history was truly impressive. The entire crew was outstanding–attentive, friendly, and clearly passionate about what they do. We navigated thrilling rapids, with Bill confidently guiding us through each one, ensuring both safety and excitement throughout our 4 1/2 hours on the water. I can’t recommend OARS highly enough for anyone seeking adventure and fun. Whether you’re a novice or an experienced rafter, OARS knows how to deliver an amazing experience. I’m already planning my next trip with them–I can’t wait to be back on the river with Kendal, Bill, and the whole OARS team! Thank you, OARS, for an unforgettable day on the river!

The OARS team that just took us down the Colorado River was absolutely fantastic! Trip leader Ned Perry, and his whole crew were just wonderful: Ned, Evelyn, Cy, Ashley, Matt, Sarah, Tom, and Dylan—they all worked hard and smoothly together to provide a seamless, inspiring and comfortable trip experience for our group. Competent, kind and friendly, hard working, knowledgable, kept us all safe. We passengers were all exhausted at the end of every great day—and the crew did everything we did PLUS everything else! Working the rapids, setting up and striking camp, making great food every day, caring for all the gear, supporting us on our journey, monitoring weather and other river trips, picking epic camping sites—really, I cannot say enough about our crew. They also clearly felt deeply connected with the OARS organization and respected their other colleagues in the company who help it all happen behind the scenes—so the overall feeling was very positive, and the experience was deeply appreciated by everyone on our motley crew of first-time Grand Canyon rafters. Thank you Ned and our whole crew, and everyone at OARS! We are already looking forward to further adventures together down the road…

My husband and I took a 6 day, 5 night trip with OARS on the Main Salmon in early August. It was the best summer vacation I have ever taken. All you have to do is set up your tent each night and pack it up in the morning, they do everything else. The meals they prepare are delicious, and the guides are fun and informative. You are on river time and get to see and learn about the Salmon River and its past and present inhabitants. The whole experience was amazing. If you ever have an opportunity to take such a trip I highly advise it. OARS provides great service, is attentive to detail, and all their staff are kind and helpful.
