About me
I have spent most of my life living, skiing, hiking, and exploring in the mountains. I am humbled by their size and power, breadth and beauty, and I think it's important to be reminded of how small we all are and how vast time is. However, my love of the outdoors does not preclude my appreciation for cities. After all, that's where the real wild animals live.

My first run through Lava Canyon on the Chilko. Two rafts, a safety cat, and a 40' log, just to make the White Mile a little more interesting.

...my sleeping bag being completely unzipped. I don't care how cold it gets, if I can't get a leg out, I am not sleeping. Ever.
