Outside of guiding, I live in Salmon, Idaho where I operate my creative business and have regular family dinners and game nights with the other good, river folk who live in this small town.

How I found OARS

A recommendation from a friend and a phone call with the Idaho manager led me to pack up my car after college and drive across the country to work a (baggage boating) job in a river world I knew very little about. And that was nearly ten years ago!

My Favorite Spot on the River/Outdoors

Anywhere I can practice my backflip off of my boat (boy, does my backflip need the practice).

My Favorite Trip Memory

A full moon night on the Lower Salmon at the end of the season of my first year in Idaho, sitting in the back footwell of a boat with new friends, when I knew in that moment, my life had changed for the unexpected and the better.
