My Favorite Spot on the River/Outdoors

The hike/swim/boulder-scramble up the Big Sur River Gorge is a fantastic summer excursion. When the weather is nice, the first big pool gets a bit crowded, but the more curious and capable can navigate farther upstream to secluded sun-soaked pools and beautiful surroundings.

Favorite River Tradition

Splashing a little water on my face and the back of my neck before the big rapids helps me get in the zone.
