FLOAT INTO PRIDE MONTH WITH OARS

#TakeYourPrideOutside and join OARS and the Sacramento LGBT Community Center for our fourth annual Pride Celebration on the American River near Sacramento.

As part of our month-long Pride initiative, when you raft any South Fork of the American River adventure with OARS Sunday – Friday during the month of June, we’ll donate $5 per person to the Sacramento LGBT Community Center. To date, we have helped raise nearly $10,000 for the organization.

When you purchase a ticket to Sacramento Pride weekend, you will also receive a special promo code to save $50 per person on any Sunday – Friday South Fork of the American River adventure for you and your crew.

For years, OARS has strived to create a welcoming and inclusive experience for everyone on the river. We know the LGBTQ+ members of our river family, and the greater outdoor community, need to be represented and advocated for. In our opinion, the only time anybody should feel like an ‘outsider’ is when they are actually outside climbing a mountain, splashing through rapids, or sleeping under the stars.

So get out there, show your pride, and splash through the adrenaline-inducing Class III rapids of the South Fork American River for Pride Month.

The Sacramento LGBT Community Center works to create a region where LGBTQ+ people thrive. They support the health and wellness of the most marginalized, advocate for equality and justice, and work to build a culturally rich LGBTQ+ community.
