Canyonlands by SUP
Make your Canyonlands National Park experience more active on a stand up paddleboard (SUP). Rigid like a surfboard, but inflatable like a raft, our stand up paddleboards are 10-feet long and surprisingly stable at close to three-feet wide. The Colorado River is best known for its big whitewater, but what about the miles of flatwater? Hop on a SUP for the first few days of your trip and take advantage of Meander Canyon’s calm stretches before joining your guide in a paddle raft to take on the Class III-IV rapids of Cataract Canyon. The focus of this experience will be on paddling with time for multiple hikes and a maximum group size of 12 guests. This is a physically-demanding trip with five days of active paddling (the final day is spent motoring through super-scenic Glen Canyon National Recreation Area to our take out) that can yield high rewards. A motorized support boat will be available to ride on throughout the journey.
