About This Trip
Spend your days taking on the exhilarating “Wild and Scenic” Tuolumne River, with a total of 14 rapids rated Class IV+. In between heart-thumping, adrenaline-pumping action, you’ll get the chance to take in all that pristine California beauty with excursions along wildflower-lined paths to storybook locations. Perhaps you’ll stand under cascading waterfalls, take a refreshing dip in a swimming hole, or feel like a kid again, giggling as you make your down a natural rock slide. After a day of world-class whitewater and exploring magical places, you’ll be ready for a relaxing evening at camp with a nice cold beer.
After pulling into camp for the day, everyone will unload the rafts, and you can find the perfect spot to set up your tent for the night. Once you’ve settled into your home for the evening, you can make your way over to try delicious Sierra Nevada brews–presented with a fun and educational discussion by a representative from the brewery–with delectable h’ordeuvres prepared by your guides. While you wait, you can join the chair circle to continue getting to know your newfound friends or engage in fun riverside games with your fellow rafters, such as horseshoes or Bocce ball. With ample options for fun, your evenings at camp will become some of your favorite moments on the trip.
When dinner is ready, you’ll be blown away by the culinary genius of your river guides as they serve up salmon, steak, or sizzling chicken fajitas in this backwoods setting. What could be better than an evening by the river with good food, good people, and craft beer? If you think of something, we’ll be waiting.
