Wyoming Adventures
Why O.A.R.S. in Wyoming?
Despite its remote location, Wyoming is as big and beautiful as any adventure vacation destination in the U.S. and O.A.R.S. offers you something most other Wyoming adventure travel companies can't give you—a unique way of experiencing iconic Wild West icons such as Yellowstone National Park and Grand Teton National Park.
See the best of these two National Parks on our 5- or 6-day, multi-sport Yellowstone & Grand Teton Explorer or paddle away on our Snake River Rafting & Kayaking getaway.
Our unique Wyoming adventure vacation itineraries allow you to see,
first-hand, and sense this state’s authentic mountain soul. Our Jackson Lake kayaking trip includes overnights spent right in the middle of Grand Teton
National Park—a feature you simply can’t find elsewhere. Just you and
the crew under the Western U.S. stars and meteor showers.
Our Yellowstone National Park adventure kayaking on Yellowstone Lake is also an unparalleled adventure where you can see the splendors of
this famous Western U.S. wilderness from the intimate cockpit of a stable sea
kayak. While traffic and hikers bustle on far-off shores, you've got
Yellowstone’s majesty, all to yourself.
Hotels? Motels? Campgrounds? Nope. With O.A.R.S. arrangements
and expert guiding, you can see Wyoming for the Wild West that it
was, and still is.

The legends of Yellowstone and Jackson Hole are embraced by the jagged glory of the 13,770-foot Grand Teton on our Wyoming sea kayaking and multi-sport adventures in the world renown Yellowstone National Park and Grand Teton National Park. In the early 1800's, this wilderness in Wyoming marked the edge of an unknown land where the Rocky Mountains soar out of the Great American Plains. Less than a century later, after the great battles and adventures of names like William F. "Buffalo Bill" Cody, Crazy Horse and Kit Carson, the arrival of homesteaders, outlaws and heroes marked the last days of the wild, western frontier. Today, Wyoming is still steeped in cowboy culture and the lifestyles of big, bold Wyoming backcountry.
THE FACTS:
Wyoming's northwest corner is a geothermal theater of awe, including
thousands of ever-erupting geysers, hot springs, enormous thermal
basins and hissing steam vents. Ancient forests, some petrified, others
buried in volcanic ash, are all that remain after a violent volcanic
age that started over six million years ago.
O.A.R.S. West, Inc. is an authorized concessioner of Grand Teton National Park and a licensed commercial permit holder in Yellowstone National Park.
