Working in the National Parks and wilderness areas of the western U.S. and getting to turn people on to their importance through guiding.
Tell us about your favorite rapid, hike or camp and what makes it special
Hard to have a favorite. I have lots of favorite hikes and camps. Hikes change with the time of year, weather and lighting. Camp could be as easy as the right place at the right time to call it home. Favorite rapid just might be Horn Creek.
Do you have a lucky charm or special river tradition?
I always have pictures of people I love with me and a couple special rocks.
What can you not live without on a trip?
A good book! Very important.
