How I found OARS
As a kid, I really wanted to be a travel writer, but I took an unpaid internship in college at a company called the World Outdoors in Boulder, CO and was given the opportunity to put my knack for writing to use on catalog copy, press releases, email marketing, and more. From there, I worked briefly for Vail Resorts in Breckenridge before finding my way to the OARS HQ in Angels Camp, CA as a seasonal marketing coordinator. I've been here ever since....
