Creating river magic with our clients.
How I found OARS
I started in Terlingua, TX on the Rio Grande in 1999. I came to OARS in 2003 after a phone conversation with George Wendt, where I expressed that I didn’t want to work in Grand Canyon or Idaho but in Cataract Canyon.
My Favorite Spot on the River/Outdoors
First seven miles of the Middle Fork of the Salmon River from Boundary Creek.
My Favorite Trip Memory
Running dories with Lars Haar in Cataract Canyon in 2008 at 65,000 cfs. First time this had been done since 1983.
My Lucky Charm
My duck decoys, Gladys and Pearl.
I Can’t Live Without
My Thera Cane body massager.
My Fun Fact
I was an investment banker out of college, then a college basketball coach.
