About me

I love to hang out with my friends and do most things outdoors. I love boating, skiing, hiking, biking, and dining al fresco. I love to sing songs, have dance parties, watch movies, and read.

The Best Part of My Job

Sleeping on my boat under the stars and getting to have canyon walls be the first and last thing I get to see in between sleep time.

How I found OARS

I was hired as a yoga teacher on a river trip and had never been rafting before. Once I saw the amazing strong women guides, I wanted to be as cool as them, so I was recommended to OARS Dino Guide School by the trip leader of that trip, and the rest is history!

My Favorite Spot on the River/Outdoors

Warm Springs camp on the Yampa! It’s usually only available at higher water flows, so we don’t often get to stay there, but it has such a great view of the rapid and tall sandstone canyons.

My Favorite Trip Memory

I always remember the trips where guests bring guitars, and we all get to sing together. I can’t play the guitar, but I love to sing, so people sharing music around a campfire are definitely some of my favorite memories.

My Lucky Charm

I have my special jewelry gifted to me by friends over time that I always wear, and of course glitter before big rapids!

I Can’t Live Without

My sunglasses!

My Fun Fact

I am half indigenous Mayan! My dad was born in the small village of Chixalub, Mexico, and his mom (my abuelita) speaks fluent Mayan.
