About me
When I’m not working, I’m either knitting/crocheting or wandering around outside. I recreate in just about as many ways as I can, from skiing and snowboarding to rock climbing to whitewater kayaking.
The Best Part of My Job
As much as I love getting to live outside under the stars and along the river, I think even more, I love sharing that with others and introducing the Rogue Wilderness to folks who wouldn’t normally find themselves there.
How I found OARS
I found a love for overnight rafting in high school. After an NOLS semester a few years ago, I spent some time as a youth backpacking guide and was eventually introduced to OARS by some coworkers at Mt. Hood Meadows.
My Favorite Spot on the River/Outdoors
Mule Creek Canyon is, in my opinion, one of the coolest spots on the Rogue River! It’s one of the deepest spots on the river with sturgeons and salmon alike swimming below the water, and walls towering 50 ft above.
