About me
I started running the rivers around Moab in 2022 and quickly fell in love with the canyons I got to call home in the summers and have come back every year since. In the winters, I spend my time working as a ski patroller and medical assistant. When I’m not working, I’m probably on the river for fun with my friends, sewing up some fleece hats or biking around somewhere!
The Best Part of My Job
Sharing the joy and magic of the river with others!
How I found OARS
My river guiding career began as an Outdoor Educator for Outward Bound. A good friend of mine worked at OARS and was always sharing how good of a place it was to work, so I knew I had to come try it out!
My Favorite Spot on the River/Outdoors
My favorite section of the Colorado River is Westwater Canyon. The geology in the canyon is so beautiful, and the rapids are always a fun time, no matter the water level! For me, Westwater was the first class III/IV canyon I rowed when I first started boating, so it holds a special place in my heart.
Favorite River Tradition
Glitter, for good luck!!!
I Can’t Live Without
My YETI water bottle.
My Fun Fact
I played collegiate water polo.
