About This Trip
Celebrate the summer Solstice and awaken to your own light on this San Juan River rafting, yoga, and meditation retreat.

We will spend four days and three nights rafting and camping along the edge of Bears Ears National Monument on the San Juan River in Utah. This Class II section of the San Juan offers easy floating and gentle rapids amongst dramatic red rock scenery, as well as the opportunity to view Ancestral Puebloan ruins, pictographs and petroglyphs, and impressive Moki steps. We will have one layover day*, where we will cultivate spaciousness through slowing down, embodied practice, and internal reflection. The next day, we’ll continue downriver, where we’ll enjoy opportunities for swimming, hiking, and maybe even spotting protected bighorn sheep.

On this trip, you will reconnect with the truth that you belong deeply to the natural world, that you are Beloved of the Earth. We strive to hold space for you that is inclusive and affirming, that honors the dignity of every life, the land, and the lineages of contemplative practices. This trip is welcome to all, including LGBTQ+ and BIPOC folks. To support the deepening of our practice and community, this trip centers around body liberation and is free of alcohol, other substances, and diet culture.
“Morning silence is such a powerful way to start the day. Falling asleep to the sounds of [the] river under the stars is magical. The facilitators show reverence for the land in deep alignment with the spirit of the practices.”
