Tell us about your favorite rapid, hike or camp and what makes it special.

Echo Park is one of my favorite places on this planet. It’s at the confluence of two magnificent rivers, the Green and the Yampa, and offers exquisite views of some of the most beautiful sandstone you will ever see.

Do you have a lucky charm or special river tradition?

I believe that picking up trash is good luck for rapids.

What can you not live without on a trip?

One of my favorite things to bring on a trips is a sarong.

Fun fact, special talent or favorite guiding memory.

I am a second generation raft guide, and my parents met on the Yampa River.
