What’s the best part of your job?

My coworkers! Its hard to have a bad day when you’re surrounded by river guides.

Tell us about your favorite rapid, hike, or camp and what makes it special.

Poudre Canyon, CO! The canyon is where I really grew into myself and learned how strong I can be. That landscape, and my canyon family will always have a special place in my heart!

Fun fact, special talent or favorite guiding/trip memory.

I can walk backwards on a slackline, while spinning a hula hoop that’s on fire and singing Night Moves by Bob Seiger.

About me…

When I was about 7, I went kayaking with my family and I got a little stuck in a strainer. I endied up swimming about 100 feet downriver screaming my head off the entire time and swore I would NEVER get back in a boat on a river again… 20 years later I’ve learned that sometimes the things that scared you become the most important things in your life!
