What’s the best part of your job?
I feel so fortunate to work for a company that offers a way for people to connect with some of the most beautiful places on Earth while providing stewardship for our planet. Pretty good “job” if you ask me!
Tell us about your favorite rapid, hike or camp and what makes it special
I absolutely loved the time I spent at Rios Tropicales on the Pacuare River in Costa Rica. The flora, fauna, sounds and sights of the rainforest were amazing! Listening to the cicadas doing their best to drown out the sound of the rushing river was so magically invigorating and calming at the same time.
What can you not live without on a trip?
I’m going to come right out and say it… My makeup and a dress. Yep, I’m somewhat of a girly girl.
Fun fact, special talent or favorite guiding memory
I sing and play guitar and used to be in a band.
In a few of my previous lives I have been a Native American (Lakota Souix) woman, a Buddhist monk and a New England fisherman in the late 1700s.
