What’s the best part of your job?

Going down the river with people for their first time. There’s no better joy than seeing them experience rapids, and absolutely loving it.

Tell us about your favorite rapid, hike, or camp and what makes it special.

Favorite rapid is definitely Lava Falls. What a rush.

What can you not live without while at work or on a trip?

Sun glasses. My eyes will die…literally.

Fun fact, special talent or favorite guiding/trip memory.

I’m in a doctoral program. That’s a fact, but it’s not fun.
