The best part of my job is waking up every day, excited to be where I am and excited about what I’m doing. Excitement is contagious.
Tell us about your favorite rapid, hike or camp and what makes it special
Grassy Island. Every guide here (in Wyoming) has a soft spot for Grassy Island. It’s the kind of campsite you dream of as a little kid. You’ll never have a better view of Mt. Moran, It’s magical.

There will be guacamole at least one night on any trip that I’m on.
Fun fact, special talent or favorite guiding memory
I’ve played piano for 14 years and I’m currently learning the fiddle. I’m also learning how to tan animal pelts, which sounds weird but it’s something I’ve always wanted to be able to do.
