What’s the best part of your job?

Being out on the water day after day, rowing big water and watching people change while they are out of their element. These experiences we provide for guests can really be life changing.

Tell us about your favorite rapid, hike or camp and what makes it special

Rapid 29 on cataract canyon, it changes so much with water flow and with Lake Powell levels dropping. Its always exciting and different and its not going to stop changing anytime soon.

Do you have a lucky charm or special river tradition?

Not really, just try to stay upright however I can!

What can you not live without on a trip?

My toothbrush.

Fun fact, special talent or favorite guiding memory

In the winter I compete in skijoring. Getting pulled behind a horse, (with a rider), while on skis. Flying off jumps and trying to ski around gates while hanging onto a rope at 30 mph.
