Tell us about your favorite rapid, hike or camp and what makes it special
Favorite rapids are the Green Room in Hells Canyon and Hermit in Grand. Fly camp on the Middle Fork is a sweet quiet shady spot with a beautiful creek that drips across a rock wall on the opposite side of the river with a nice tail out and trout pool right there.
Do you have a lucky charm or special river tradition?
Used to be blowing the conch for coffee in the am when I was a wee lad just getting in the river groove.
What can you not live without on a trip?
