OARS Offers 11 Unique Gourmet Whitewater Rafting Adventures in 2013
ANGELS CAMP, CA – January 17, 2013 – With culinary travel on the rise in 2013, veteran outfitter OARS is offering 11 gourmet-, beer- and wine-themed whitewater rafting trips as part of their portfolio of nearly 100 unique award-winning nature-based adventures. Whether travelers are sampling pints of craft beer on Oregon’s Rogue River or treating their taste buds to a venison sirloin steak with a huckleberry wine reduction on the company’s new Epicurean Adventure on the Salmon River with Whole Journeys, their palates will surely be satiated on these once-in-a-lifetime adventures.
“Foodie” trips are not a new travel trend, but they certainly are here to stay. OARS began offering river trips with a culinary twist more than 15 years ago, and these trips have continued to grow in popularity ever since.
