National Geographic Traveler Magazine’s annual “50 Tours of a Lifetime” feature recognizes the 50 most authentic, most innovative, most immersive, best-guided, and most sustainable tours of 2011, as judged by the editors of National Geographic Traveler Magazine. The feature can be found online and in the May/June 2011 print edition of the magazine. On the Ultimate Grand Canyon Experience O.A.R.S.’ veteran river guides lead adventurous travelers, either by inflatable oar raft or wooden-hulled dory, down 285 miles of the Colorado River from Lee’s Ferry to Lake Mead through the length of the Grand Canyon.
