Royal Robbins
Royal Robbins, a pioneer in the outdoors, is recognized as one the most accomplished and respected climbers of all time. His life reads like a one-man history of rock climbing. With nearly every meaningful first ascent in Yosemite, Royal is considered the Godfather of Free Climbing. His love for the outdoors ranges from a 5.10 climb to many first descents of hundreds of unexplored California Rivers. Royal believes wholeheartedly in the positive power of the outdoors. Whatever your adventure, outdoor experiences are therapeutic for the mind, body and soul.
After reaching the peak of El Capitan and posing for a picture, Royal Robbins and his wife Liz saw a need for clothing that fits every aspect of the outdoor spirit: something to replace those tattered cut-offs and dingy loose tees. So, they set out on a mission to design and develop clothing that can take you to the top of mountains, venture down rivers into remote destinations and live through our everyday lives. ~Royal Robbins, inspired by a great adventurer, established 1968~
