From a six-day raft-supported hiking trip on the Rogue River Trail to trekking in the High Andes, O.A.R.S. now offers eight unique hiking adventures in California, Colorado, Idaho, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah and Peru with departures from April through September.

O.A.R.S. has over 36 years experience operating outdoor guide schools focused on first class raft guide training. Learn the basics. Fundamental instruction on river trip guiding, reading water, navigation and control, Swiftwater Rescue Training, group dynamic study, leadership tools and beyond-the-basics culinary skills in the great outdoors.

National Park Photography Adventures
This year, Canyonlands, Yosemite, Grand Teton and Yellowstone national parks and the Main Salmon River in the Frank Church Wilderness will all play host to O.A.R.S.' photography workshops. Participants will be instructed by a professional photographer in areas such as composition, lighting and other special techniques used in nature photography midst some of the most spectacular scenery in the U.S. Whether you are an enthusiastic beginner or an advanced professional, you will certainly enjoy this unique adventure.

OARS - Teva Product Testing Trips
Building on the outrageous success of our rafting and product testing expedition on the Main Salmon last year, O.A.R.S. and Teva, the high performance outdoor footwear brand, are teaming up again for a series of trips in 2009.
