Main Salmon Epicurean Adventure with Whole Foods Market® - Overview

Download Itinerary

Our Whole Foods Market® Epicurean Adventure with Whole Journeys offers a rich river experience that includes free-flowing Class III whitewater that’s great for any experience level, big sandy beaches perfect for camping and playing, beautiful mountain scenery, abundant wildlife, and a natural hot spring. As we challenge ourselves with new experiences on the river and take in the natural beauty around us, along the way we enjoy impressive restaurant-quality, organic cuisine deep in the wilderness. The river was a means of survival for the area’s indigenous people and early settlers, who relied on the abundant salmon species and other plentiful wildlife for food.  We will learn their history as well as their food traditions, storage methods, and trading practices, while our chef prepares gourmet meals and offers up tips and demos for how to cook deep in the wilderness.
