In the early 1800's, this wilderness in Wyoming marked the edge of an unknown land where the R ocky Mountains soar out of the Great American Plains. Less than a century later, after the great battles and adventures of names like William F. "Buffalo Bill" Cody, Crazy Horse and Kit Carson, the arrival of homesteaders, outlaws and heroes marked the last days of the wild, western frontier. Today, Wyoming is still steeped in cowboy culture and the lifestyles of big, bold WY backcountry.

THE FACTS:
Wyoming's northwest corner is a geothermal theater of awe, including
thousands of ever-erupting geysers, hot springs, enormous thermal
basins and hissing steam vents. Ancient forests, some petrified, others
buried in volcanic ash, are all that remain after a violent volcanic
age that started over six million years ago.
O.A.R.S. Inc. is an authorized concessioner of Grand Teton National Park.
