We've got six Canada adventures, some to places no other rafting companies dare to go and some to regions of immeasurable beauty and abundant wildlife.

O.A.R.S. ran first commercial descents down central British Columbia's Klinaklini River. Today, we are still the only river rafting company to run this river, which requirins helicopter-assisted portages and 100-percent commitment from only our heartiest, most experienced guests.

O.A.R.S.' Canadian crews haven't forgotten about the individual paddler out there though. Quite the contrary. While we've braved first runs down some of Canada's most untamed rivers, we've also brewed up some peerless bravado on the luxury front. Some of our river journeys through the heartlands of the Canadian Rockies and British Columbia are padded with pampering - five-star lodges, hot springs, catered horseback riding tours, elegant meals and all the amenities.

In the universe of O.A.R.S. outposts, this northern-most constellation is peerless. The Canadian National anthem boasts "true north strong and free." So too are their waterways and the epic escapes that define O.A.R.S. Canada Adventures.

The rivers of British Columbia and the Yukon, and the landscapes that envelop them, literally dwarf famous waters elsewhere in North America. They offer ultra-diverse beauty in breadths seen in few other parts of the world. From headwaters that often flow with ice-pack, some of these rivers pass beneath giant glass-blue glaciers, along horizons of endless temperate rainforest and storied high country desert, while others tumble into bays looming with icebergs.

The experiences that rivers like the Klinaklini, Firth, and the Chilko provide are awesome. Impassable zones are skirted with airborne horsepower; heli-portages are vital parts of some itineraries. Glacial hikes are common for others. Northern lights crackle across evening skies, high over camps perched on ferocious falls.
