Guide For: California Oregon
Hometown: Somewhere out west
Favorite Food: All of it
Favorite Music: Anything Eli plays
Favorite thing about working for O.A.R.S.: Besides getting to be outside every day, share the river with the guests, and row the rapids, I'd have to say taking part in the dish line. There are some great jokes to be told and heard while standing in line!
Greatest Memory: Taking my Dad down the Rogue a few years ago. He didn't understand my decision to become a river guide up to that point. On the last day of the trip, he turned to me and said, "Well Jos, maybe everyone else are the ones that don't get it, about how to live life. Maybe you're the one who get's it."
Other Hobbies: I lead women's and co-ed small group tours in India, Vietnam and Cambodia. www.wandertours.com
Special Talents: I attempt to play the ukulele. Attempt being the key word.
Time with O.A.R.S.: Since 2006
