As a northern California native, Lauren grew up around the beauty of the natural outdoors and recreational parks surrounding Marin County. She has rafted as far south as New Zealand, but spent most of her time in the ocean as a teenager - surfing, sailing, and scuba diving. Lauren's previous work experience was well spent at an environmental organization that does land conservation in the Patagonia region of South America. Along with freelance editorial gigs in the publishing world, Lauren brings youthful enthusiasm and eco-friendly passion to the O.A.R.S. team. Her other interests include dancing, soccer, snowboarding, and - more recently - fly fishing.
