Writer & photographer Bhaskar Krishnamurthy is an Explorers Club International Fellow who works with research scientists and humanitarian organizations on cultural and natural history photojournalism in remote regions. In his journeys to more than 50 countries, he has been captured by militants, nearly paralyzed in a road accident, attacked by a rampaging rhino, and experienced other profoundly life-changing moments. His work is published in the UNESCO Journal, Lonely Planet books, Rolling Stone, Mint.com, Oxfam, Rainfor and Earthwatch, among many others.
