This Central American gem boasts 180 miles of beautiful Caribbean coastline and approximately 225 cayes—or small islands. From our kayaks we spot bright red starfish and a kaleidoscope of neon fish below, or find ourselves in a unique interaction with the indigenous people of Garifuna. While visiting nearby caves, we’ll see cultural artifacts left by the Maya centuries ago. Bring your binoculars for the cruise through Revenge Lagoon as several hundred bird species thrive here…you better “belize” it, this country has it all!
