In a way, every O.A.R.S. adventure travel trip is a "family" adventure. After you’ve run the Class IV rapids rafting on the Tuolumne, your crewmates are no longer strangers, they’re a band of brothers and sisters. But as we all know, adventurous moments shared with a son or daughter, father or grandmother are even more bonding. That’s why O.A.R.S. adventure vacations are perfect for families. We do the cooking, we handle the chores and we help keep the littlest ones busy. All you have to do is relax and let nature take over.

O.A.R.S. offers family vacation adventures for kids from four years old to “tweens” to teens. Our safety-conscious professional outdoor guides plan engaging and enjoyable outdoor activities and help keep everyone entertained and active. Every trip has at least one guide who’s a dedicated “Fun Director.” And it’s not all about river rafts and rapids. There’s plenty of time for swimming, hiking, playing on beaches, geology lessons, story-telling after dinner, or just watching the clouds turn orange and gold in the setting sun.

You'll travel to places such as the Main Salmon River in Idaho, Cataract Canyon in Utah, The Green River through the Gates of Lodore in Colorado or Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks in Wyoming. Charters, Group Trips and Custom Adventure Travel Trips

O.A.R.S. offers three outstanding adventure options for groups from families to corporate teams to clubs and organized groups of friends or colleagues:

Group Adventure Vacations are available to a group of any size wishing to travel together on any one of our existing departures. Depending on the departure, group trips may or may not include other O.A.R.S. guests.

Chartered (Private) Adventures are an EXCLUSIVE departure on an existing O.A.R.S. adventure travel package for your group only. This means your departure date becomes exclusive and is not offered or available for general sale—it's just for you and your group.

Custom Adventure Travel Trips are one-of-a-kind adventures tailored to your specific requests. On a custom O.A.R.S. adventure, we can design each and every component of your vacation; from the dates you choose to travel, the length of your trip, the destination/s and activities...to the menu, the wine list, the type of boats you'd prefer and even your choice of guides.
